Government Positive About Adjusting Services of State AIDS Control Employees – Minister Meghna Sakore-Bordikar

Mumbai, Oct 2025: State Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare, Meghna Sakore-Bordikar, stated that the government will consider positive measures regarding the adjustment of services for employees working on a contractual basis under the State AIDS Control Society.

She was speaking at a meeting with representatives of the State AIDS Control Employee Service Adjustment Action Committee held at Nirmal Bhavan. Senior officials of the AIDS Control Society and office bearers of the Action Committee were also present.

Currently, 1,600 employees work on a contractual basis across the state under the AIDS control programs. Most of these employees are aged between 25 and 40 and possess valuable experience in the sector. Recognizing the need for experienced personnel to implement AIDS control programs more effectively in the future, the minister said that senior-level efforts will be made to ensure the adjustment of these employees’ services.
