SEZES Pendra Hosts Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting with High Turnout
Gaurela Pendra Marwahi, 06 August 24/ Under the Parent-Teacher Mega Meeting Program, a large number of parents including Collector Mrs. Leena Kamlesh Mandavi, public representatives, dignitaries, educationists attended the cluster level meeting organized at Swami Atmanand Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School Pendra today. The main objective of the parent-teacher meeting is to bring awareness in all the parents regarding their children and the entire activities of the school, so that the foundation of a better future for the children can be laid with the collective efforts of the parents and teachers. Addressing the program, the Collector said that for quality education, apart from bookish knowledge, the understanding of national, international knowledge, general knowledge, regional knowledge should also be fully developed in the children. The Collector honored the children who scored more than 80 percent marks in Swami Atmanand Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School Pendra in the academic session 2023-24. Also, the oath of Ullas Nav Bharat Literacy Program was administered to all the parents, children and teachers.
District Education Officer J.K. Shastri said that teachers should discharge their duties with full honesty in building the future of children. Assistant Professor Mamta Chakraborty of DIET Pendra said that it is also the responsibility of the parents to ensure that the home environment is conducive to education. Principal of the cluster L.P. Dahire said that along with the teachers, the parents also have the same responsibility to create a study corner in their home so that the children can live in a conducive environment and complete their studies. Cluster Coordinator Tersu Ram Chaudhary said that the teachers should maintain constant coordination with the parents, so that a positive and better environment can be created among the children. Parent-teacher mega meetings were also organized in all the 92 cluster centers of the district.
The public representatives, dignitaries, educationists, retired teachers present in the program also addressed the parents and said that to improve the level of education among children, it is the responsibility of all of us to create an environment of education at home and the parents should observe the work done by the children in the school every day. The program began with the worship of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of learning, and the Raj Geet. The chief guest of the program was eminent citizen Neeraj Jain. On this occasion, Puran Chhabria, Alok Soni, Vimal Mishra, Paras Ram Yadav, Dilshad Iraqi, Santoshi Kashyap, Meena Padwar, Simarjit Kaur, Moti Chand Jain, Ullas Navbharat Literacy Program’s district nodal Mukesh Kori, Jeevan Singh Kushram, Satish Namdev, along with teachers and parents from all schools under the cluster center were present.
