Speed Up Work on Marathi University at Riddhapur – Minister Chandrakant Patil
Mumbai : Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil has urged that the development of Marathi University at Riddhapur in Amravati district be prioritized and expedited.
Today, a presentation on the current status of Marathi University was made during a meeting chaired by Minister Patil. Principal Secretary of the Higher and Technical Education Department, Vikas Chandra Rastogi, and officials from the Public Works Department were present.
During the meeting, Minister Patil emphasized the need to accelerate the construction of key facilities, including the main administrative building, Vice-Chancellor’s hall, Registrar’s hall, theme park, student meeting spaces, meditation center, reception hall, library, separate hostels for boys and girls, and a large multi-purpose hall. He also stressed the importance of appointing a Vice-Chancellor and ensuring that all student facilities are in place to facilitate the university’s opening.
