Painter Shivkumar Nirala Presents a Unique ‘Political Map’ to CM Vishnu Deo Sai CM Appreciates the Artwork, Honors His Creative Talent

Raipur, Nov 2025 : During the Jandarshan programme held at the Chief Minister’s residence, Shivkumar Nirala, a painter from village Chakarda in Sarangarh–Bilaigarh district, presented a unique “Political Map” to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. His remarkable artistic creation became a special highlight of the event.

The illustrated map prepared by Mr. Nirala is a detailed and artistic document showcasing the entire political journey of Chhattisgarh. It visually represents information about the state’s Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha members, the structure of the Council of Ministers, parliamentary constituencies, and a comparative analysis of all Lok Sabha and Assembly elections held since 1998. Each Assembly constituency features the margin of victory, the sequence of representatives by political party, and the historical changes in seats, all presented in an aesthetically organized format.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, while appreciating the creative map, said, “Shivkumar Nirala has presented data and facts in such a simple, beautiful, and analytical manner that this artwork becomes a valuable document for students of politics, researchers, and common citizens alike.”
