CM Bhupendra Patel chairs the State ‘SWAGAT’ Online Public Grievance Redressal Program

Gandhinagar, Nov 2025: During the November State SWAGAT Online Public Grievance Redressal program held in Gandhinagar, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel directed the concerned officials to ensure resolution of citizens’ issues—including those of farmers—by thoroughly understanding their concerns and conducting on-site visits.

Launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in 2003, the State SWAGAT program has become an effective platform for citizens to directly raise their issues with the government and achieve positive outcomes in their lives.

During the November State SWAGAT program, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel provided yet another example of his dedication to prioritising citizens’ issues and ensuring their swift resolution.

In this State SWAGAT, more than 70 citizens presented their issues, with the Chief Minister personally hearing around four applicants. The remaining representations were reviewed by officers of the Chief Minister’s Public Relations Unit and forwarded to the respective departments and district-level officials for further action.

Necessary actions have been initiated at the district level to address the approximately 1,156 representations received during the District SWAGAT program conducted by the state government in November.

Chief Minister directed district collectors to ensure effective implementation and rigorous local-level monitoring of the decisions taken on representations received in the taluka and district SWAGAT programs. He further instructed that talukas and districts with a higher number of pending cases must resolve them on a priority basis.

When farmers from two villages in Porbandar district raised their long-pending demand for a bridge over the Sukhbhadar River during the State SWAGAT, the Chief Minister expressed empathy for their concern and instructed the Secretary of Roads and Buildings to take swift action to approve the proposal.

Furthermore, for another applicant from Porbandar, the Chief Minister directed the Porbandar Collector to ensure the issuance of the property card for his plot with the specified area.

Chief Minister also directed the Ahmedabad District Collector to ly take action to remove the seven incorrect entries in the land records of an applicant from Dholera taluka, which had occurred due to an incorrect Dholera SIR reservation on his agricultural land.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel directed all district collectors to ensure special care to ensure that farmers encounter no difficulties in availing the agricultural assistance package announced by the state government for losses resulting from the recent unexpected unseasonal rainfall.

Present at the state-level SWAGAT program for November 2025 were the Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Smt. Avantika Singh, Secretary Dr Vikrant Pandey, Officers on Special Duty Shri Dhiraj Parekh and Shri Rakesh Vyas, along with senior secretaries and officials from the concerned departments.
