Ashish Shelar: Teachings of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj to Reach Stanford University

Cultural Affairs Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar announced that the profound work and teachings of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj, who opened the doors of knowledge to all sections of society, will be taken across the seven seas to Stanford University.

He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the programme “Mogra Phulala”, organised today at Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium in Vashi to mark the 750th birth anniversary year of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj. The programme featured a presentation by Ganesh Shinde and his team.

To commemorate the anniversary year of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj, the Department of Cultural Affairs will organise a series of cultural programmes across the state. These will include taluka-level events, the district-level Mogra Phulala programme, plays, scholarly conferences, releases, events in various states, commemorative coins, postal stamps, and more.

The Mogra Phulala programme held at the Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium received an overwhelming response from the audience.
