Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that, in line with the National Education Policy 2020, the state government is continually working to enhance the quality of school education. He said that Sandipani Schools in Madhya Pradesh have earned international recognition for their high standards. Along with providing quality education, these schools focus especially on skill development and connecting students with employment opportunities.

The Sandipani School initiative began in the 2022–23 academic session. In the first phase that year, 274 Sandipani Schools were opened across the state, and the student strength in these schools has now crossed 300,000. They provide education from KG-1 to Class 12.
