Train Youth in Modern Trades as per Industry Demand : CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that technical education, skill development and employment must be directly aligned with industry requirements so that maximum employment opportunities can be made available to the youth. He instructed that youth should be trained only in those trades which are in demand in the industry, and that the stipend given during training should be transferred transparently and directly into their bank accounts.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that such an institutional mechanism should be developed, which ensures not only training but also placement for the youth. He issued these directives while reviewing the Technical Education, Skill Development, and Employment Department in Khajuraho. The Chief Minister instructed that new trades should be introduced in ITIs located near industrial areas according to local industrial demands, enabling youth to gain employment within their own region. He emphasised that trades related to agriculture and allied sectors, such as agricultural machinery repair, food processing, dairy and fisheries, should be prioritised in ITIs to make rural youth self-reliant. More youth should be trained under the PM Suryaghar Scheme, and training for solar system management should also be provided. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that every youth of the state must become skilled, gain employment, and contribute to Madhya Pradesh’s rapid progress towards self-reliance. The government is consistently taking concrete steps in this direction.
