PM Modi to Host NDA MPs for Key Dinner Meeting Today

New Delhi, Dec 2025 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a special dinner for all Members of Parliament from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Thursday at his official residence, marking a significant interaction following the alliance’s victory in the Bihar Assembly elections.

The event was originally scheduled during the previous Parliament session but was postponed due to severe floods in Punjab. According to sources, all NDA MPs are expected to attend, with senior Union ministers coordinating logistics and communication with MPs from their respective states and regions.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar are overseeing arrangements for MPs from Odisha and West Bengal, while Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has been assigned similar responsibilities for MPs from the Northeastern states.

For the dinner, around 54 tables have been arranged, each accommodating eight MPs representing various alliance partners along with BJP members. A Union Minister will be seated at each table to facilitate discussions. Prime Minister Modi is expected to move from table to table, interacting personally with MPs and taking stock of regional concerns and political priorities.

Earlier this week, the Prime Minister briefed NDA MPs on the government’s broader roadmap, stressing priorities related to public welfare, governance efficiency, and the delivery of key schemes. The dinner is expected to further build on these discussions, offering MPs additional guidance and clarity on the government’s objectives for the ongoing session of Parliament.

Sources indicated that the dinner has been planned as a platform for open dialogue and constructive engagement among alliance partners. It will allow the Prime Minister to deliberate on legislative priorities, review the government’s agenda, and reinforce the alliance’s unified political strategy.

Senior ministers, floor leaders and MPs from all NDA constituent parties are scheduled to participate, making it one of the largest informal gatherings of the alliance in recent months.

The discussion may also extend to preliminary strategies for the upcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Assam. Alliance partners are expected to use the occasion to fine-tune their electoral approaches ahead of these crucial state contests, ensuring better coordination and a cohesive campaign message.

The dinner meeting is seen as a step toward strengthening political unity within the NDA, enhancing communication between the government and its lawmakers, and aligning the alliance’s priorities for the months ahead.
