Chief Minister Inaugurates Modern Food and Drug Administration Building in Nagpur

Nagpur, Dec 2025: The newly equipped building of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at Civil Line, Nagpur, was inaugurated today by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The facility includes advanced laboratories and state-of-the-art equipment for detecting adulteration in food and medicines.

The event was attended by Minister of Food and Drug Administration Narhari Zirwal, Minister of State Yogesh Kadam, Secretary of Medical Education and Pharmaceutical Department Dheeraj Kumar, FDA Commissioner Shridhar Dubey-Patil, Nagpur Joint Commissioners Krishna Jaipurkar and Milind Kaleshwarkar, among others.

The new five-storey building of the Nagpur Regional FDA office covers 1,500 square meters. The first floor will house the drug division, while the second floor will operate the food division.
