Overseas Rajasthanis Congratulate CM for Historic Pravasi Rajasthan Day; Key Partners in State’s Growth, Actively Investing in Rajasthan — CM Bhajanlal Sharma

Jaipur, December 2025 : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that Rajasthan is rapidly progressing in multiple sectors, including tourism, information technology, renewable energy, agriculture, and medical services. He added that the state’s geographical diversity and rich cultural heritage further strengthen this growth journey. Overseas Rajasthanis have become major partners in this development, he noted, expressing confidence that with collective efforts, Rajasthan will emerge as a leading state in the country and the vision of a Developed Rajasthan will be fulfilled.

Sharma was interacting with members of the Surat, London, Dubai, Singapore, Kampala, Tokyo, Doha, Munich, New York, Bhubaneswar, Nairobi, Kolkata, and Delhi chapters at the Chief Minister’s Office on Thursday. During the discussion, he reviewed investment proposals planned by these chapters and directed officials to provide complete support to investors. He also instructed that necessary action on their proposals be expedited through the Single Window Clearance system.

Government Working Consistently for Overseas Rajasthanis

The Chief Minister said that it is the government’s priority to ensure that Overseas Rajasthanis remain connected to their homeland. For this purpose, the government organized the first-ever Pravasi Rajasthani Day on a historic scale. A “National and International Department for Overseas Rajasthani Affairs” has been established to protect and promote the interests of the diaspora. Additionally, the Pravasi Rajasthani Policy has been launched.

He added that the Rajasthan Foundation is playing a major role in strengthening ties with the diaspora. The state government has announced 14 new Rajasthan Foundation chapters, increasing the total number of chapters to 40.

Sharma further stated that the government has prioritized ease of doing business. The “RajNivesh” portal is an important step in this direction, enabling investors to complete e-registration within minutes and proceed smoothly with their projects.

We Are Keen to Increase Investments in the State — Overseas Rajasthanis

Representatives from various chapters across India and abroad congratulated the Chief Minister for the grand success of the first Pravasi Rajasthani Day, noting that it provided a global platform for Rajasthanis living worldwide. They said they are already investing in various sectors of the state and are eager to expand their investments to contribute more actively to the state’s development.

During the interaction, overseas delegates expressed interest in investing in sectors such as hospitality and tourism, wellness, artificial intelligence, digital literacy, IT, self-defense training for women, film shootings, foreign languages, skill development, drone manufacturing, medicine and health equipment, and multi-specialty hospitals. Officials briefed them on all investment-related processes.

The Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by all chapters. Chief Secretary V. Srinivas and senior officials from various departments were also present. Members from 13 NRR chapters, along with participants from Zambia, Ghana, and New Zealand, also took part in the dialogue.
