Fleet of 34 New Vehicles Inducted to Strengthen Gadchiroli Police Force

Distribution Flagged Off by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

Gadchiroli, Dec 2025 : With the objective of making the internal security system in Gadchiroli district stronger, faster, and more effective, a total fleet of 34 new vehicles has been provided to the Gadchiroli Police Department. The fleet includes 30 Scorpio vehicles, 2 buses, and 2 motorcycles. The new vehicles were formally distributed after being flagged off by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The programme was attended by Minister of State for Finance, Planning, Agriculture, Relief and Rehabilitation, Law and Justice, and Labour, and Co-Guardian Minister of Gadchiroli, Adv. Ashish Jaiswal; Minister of State for Home (Rural), Housing, School Education, Cooperation, and Mining, Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar; MLA Dr. Milind Narote; Special Inspector General of Police (Anti-Naxal Operations) Sandeep Patil; Deputy Inspector General of Police Ankit Goyal; District Collector Avishayant Panda; and Superintendent of Police Shri Nilotpal, among others.

The induction of these vehicles will enable faster patrolling in remote and tribal areas, prompt response during emergencies, more effective anti-Naxal operations, and improved efficiency in day-to-day police functioning. The Scorpio vehicles will be useful for patrol and operational duties, while the buses will be utilized for transporting police teams and for special missions. The motorcycles will help enhance police presence even on narrow and difficult routes.
