National Jamboree to Become a Strong Platform for Leadership and Spirit of Service Among Youth: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai
Raipur, January 2026 : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday said that the National Jamboree will serve as a powerful platform for nurturing leadership qualities and a spirit of service among the youth. He made these remarks during a courtesy meeting with Dr. Anil Jain, former Rajya Sabha MP and National President of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, at the Chief Minister’s residence.
Welcoming Dr. Jain during his visit to Chhattisgarh, the Chief Minister presented him with a Bastar art memento as a symbol of the state’s rich cultural heritage.
Chief Minister Sai extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Anil Jain on the occasion of the five-day National Rover–Ranger Jamboree, which is being organised for the first time in Balod district of Chhattisgarh. He described the hosting of this prestigious national-level event as a matter of pride for the youth of the state.
The Chief Minister said that holding a national event of the Bharat Scouts and Guides in Chhattisgarh under the capable leadership of Dr. Anil Jain is a significant achievement for the state. He noted that the jamboree will play a vital role in strengthening discipline, leadership skills, social responsibility and a spirit of service among young participants. Through the participation of Rover–Rangers from various states, Chhattisgarh’s cultural, social and youthful energy will be showcased effectively at the national level.
Expressing confidence in the success of the event, Chief Minister Sai said that the jamboree would not only inspire youth to actively contribute to nation-building but would also reinforce the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.” He added that the Chhattisgarh government remains committed to encouraging such initiatives that promote the holistic development of young people.
Senior officials including Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat, and other dignitaries were also present during the meeting.
