The Issue of Land for Shaheed Colonel Santosh Mahadik Memorial Park Should Be Resolved Immediately – Guardian Minister Shambhuraj Desai
Satara : The issue of land for the Shaheed Colonel Santosh Mahadik Memorial Park in Are village, Satara taluka, has been pending for quite some time. In this regard, Colonel Mahadik’s mother, Kalindi Mahadik, along with his cousin, met with Guardian Minister Shambhuraj Desai at the District Collector’s office.
A total of 37 gunthas (approximately 0.37 acres) of land will be allocated for the Shaheed Colonel Santosh Mahadik Memorial Park in Are village. Minister Desai instructed the Revenue Department to immediately visit the site, conduct the land measurement, and issue the necessary government orders.
Colonel Santosh Mahadik, who laid down his life for the nation, has had his mother personally following up on this matter for years. Minister Desai emphasized that the administration should prioritize and sensitively address this issue. During the meeting, he respectfully listened to Mrs. Kalindi Mahadik’s concerns and instructed the Revenue Department to promptly inspect the site. Additionally, he announced that starting from August 15th, a tradition of paying homage at the War Memorial on August 15th, January 26th, and May 1st will be initiated in the district.
