Raipur, January 2026 : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the Chhattisgarh Excise Department has embraced e-services, bringing unprecedented transparency, security, and technology-driven efficiency to its operations—from bottling to delivery.
Digital Initiatives Driving Transparency
According to the department, several modern online systems have been implemented to enhance credibility and accountability:
- E-Challan for secure transactions
- Single Window Login System for streamlined user access
- User Registration and Real-Time Cash Collection Information
- Central Video Monitoring System
- NOC Permit Issue System and Track & Trace Technology
- Aadhaar-enabled Biometric Attendance
- Toll-Free Complaint Facility
These innovations have ensured that every step of the process is transparent, monitored, and digitally verifiable, strengthening operational reliability.
Impact on Revenue and Anti-Corruption
The transparent, secure, and technology-based framework has contributed to effective control over corruption and a steady increase in state revenue. During the current financial year, the department has achieved ₹7,851 crore in revenue by December, marking a 10.5% growth, on the path toward the target of ₹12,000 crore.

Aligned with the CM’s vision of good governance, the Excise Department integrates digital oversight at every level. Meetings and policy decisions of CM Vishnu Dev Sai are monitored through modern video control rooms, computer dashboards, and live data collection.
