Andhra Pradesh to Emerge as Hub for AI-Driven Creative Enterprises: CM Chandrababu Naid
Amaravati / Davos Jan 2026 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday said the state is being developed as a major hub for AI-driven creative enterprises, with a strong focus on emerging technologies and digital innovation. The Chief Minister made these remarks during meetings with global industry leaders in Zurich on the first day of his visit to Europe in connection with the World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos.
During a high-level interaction with a leading global industry representative, the Chief Minister outlined the vast investment opportunities available in Andhra Pradesh across sectors such as the AI Creative Tech Hub, Generative Artificial Intelligence, Deep Tech and the rapidly expanding Digital Content Economy. He said the state government is actively encouraging investments in digital media, virtual production, gaming, animation and film technology, with the twin objectives of economic growth and large-scale employment generation for youth.
According to an official statement issued by the state government, senior executives of Eros Innovations, including Co-Founder and Co-President Ridhima Lulla and Co-President Swaneet Singh, participated in the discussions. Representatives of the company showcased their initiatives such as Eros Gen AI, the Eros Universe Super App, an AI-enabled Film City and advanced virtual production studios. They also informed the Chief Minister about plans to develop virtual reality-based tourism promotion programmes under the banner “Discover Andhra Pradesh 360,” aimed at showcasing the state’s cultural heritage and tourist destinations using immersive technologies.
Eros Innovations Founder and Chairman Kishore Lulla lauded Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s global outlook and reform-oriented leadership, referring to him as the “Davos Man Chandrababu” for his consistent engagement with international investors and global forums.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister met Indian Ambassador to Switzerland, Mridul Kumar, soon after his arrival in Zurich for the four-day visit. During the meeting, CM Naidu sought the ambassador’s cooperation in facilitating investments by Swiss companies in Andhra Pradesh. Ministers Nara Lokesh and T.G. Venkatesh were also present at the interaction.
The Chief Minister discussed the potential for Swiss investments in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, heavy machinery, electronics, rail components, textiles and research-based industries. When the ambassador noted Switzerland’s global leadership in pharma, medical devices and advanced manufacturing, CM Naidu highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s strong infrastructure, skilled workforce and investor-friendly ecosystem as key advantages for such investments.
He informed that the state government has introduced 25 new industrial development policies, with special emphasis on artificial intelligence and quantum technologies. CM Naidu added that focused efforts are being made to strengthen skill development among youth to meet the growing global demand for a highly skilled workforce. He expressed confidence that Andhra Pradesh’s forward-looking policies and global engagement would position the state as a preferred destination for next-generation investments.
