Main Aim is to Instill Patriotism in the Younger Generation – Minister of State Madhuri Misal

Grand Event in Nanded on the Occasion of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom Anniversary

Nanded, Jan 2026 : On the occasion of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom Anniversary, a grand event under the banner ‘Hind Di Chadar’ will be held in Nanded on January 24 and 25, Minister of State for Minorities and Wakf, Madhuri Misal, announced. The two-day event is expected to be held on a large scale, with an estimated attendance of 10 to 12 lakh citizens from across the country, she added.

The historic event will see the participation of prominent dignitaries including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, along with several other state Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, ministers, saints, and mahants. A unique feature of the event is the participation of various community groups, with large numbers of citizens from Sikh, Sikhligar, Banjara, Labana, Sindhi, Mohyal, Valmiki, Udasin, and Bhagat Namdev Warkari communities expected to attend.

Minister Misal highlighted that the primary objective of the event is to educate students and the younger generation about great personalities who made sacrifices for the nation. She emphasized that Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s supreme sacrifice for religion, humanity, and the nation, when communicated effectively to today’s youth, will foster a stronger sense of patriotism, selflessness, and social unity among them.

She further stated that the main program on January 25 aims to successfully convey the message of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s sacrifice to the entire state of Maharashtra. Through this grand event, efforts will be made to raise awareness about social harmony, national unity, and cultural values, she added, calling upon citizens to actively participate and uphold these ideals.
