Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government was continuously taking important steps to provide better employment opportunities to the youth of Madhya Pradesh. Through IT parks and engineering campuses, young people would have opportunities to pursue education while gaining access to employment, skill development and emerging technologies. He said the IT Park in Ujjain is an important project for expanding the IT sector in the city and would help create new employment opportunities for the youth in the coming years.
During his inspection of the IT Park, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said various important development works were being undertaken to develop Indore and Ujjain as metropolitan cities. These initiatives aim to increase employment opportunities for the youth while promoting quality education, technological innovation and industrial expansion.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the state’s performance could be further improved through new technologies and innovation. Expansion of the IT sector would promote new industries in the state and provide youth with better opportunities for employment and skill development in their own region. This would accelerate the overall development of the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government was working with commitment to promote progress in every sector of Madhya Pradesh. Development works were being monitored to ensure their completion within the stipulated timeframe. In view of the upcoming Simhastha Mahaparv, necessary development works in Ujjain were also being expedited. The state government was working in a coordinated manner to promote the city’s development, modern infrastructure and technological facilities, while expanding employment opportunities for the youth.
The IT Park project is being constructed in two phases. Approximately 2.16 hectares of land has been earmarked for the project, with a total proposed built-up area of 15,480 square metres. Of this, 11,436 square metres has been reserved for IT companies. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed officials to ensure compliance with prescribed quality standards and complete all construction works within the stipulated timeframe.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also reviewed the progress of the PM Ekta Mall and Mahakal Bhakt Niwas being constructed through the Ujjain Development Authority on Indore Road during the inspection. He directed officials to expedite the completion of both projects so that their benefits could reach the general public and devotees visiting Ujjain.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inspected the Mahamrityunjaya Gate on Indore Road. He was briefed on the features of the gate and other related aspects of its construction.
Officials of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation and Collector Shri Roshan Kumar Singh apprised Chief Minister Dr. Yadav of the construction of the IT Park and the progress achieved so far.
