Jaipur, September 2026 : Necessary arrangements have been completed at designated locations for the counting of votes for the wards under Jaipur Municipal Corporation and various Municipal Councils and Municipalities in the district as part of the Urban Local Body General Elections-2026.
The counting of votes for the 150 wards of Jaipur Municipal Corporation will be conducted at Shri Bhawani Niketan College of Pharmacy, Sikar Road, Jaipur. A total of 150 tables have been allocated across 15 counting rooms for the storage of EVMs and the counting process.
Under the counting arrangements for Jaipur Municipal Corporation, votes for Wards 1 to 150 will be counted in designated rooms according to the respective Assembly constituency and ward numbers. Counting tables have been arranged in designated rooms for wards falling under Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jhotwara, Sanganer, Bagru, Malviya Nagar, Civil Lines, Kishanpole, Adarsh Nagar, Hawa Mahal and Amer areas. The order specifies the respective wards and number of tables assigned to each counting room.
For the counting of votes for two Municipal Councils and 16 Municipalities in the district, a total of 120 tables have been arranged across 18 counting rooms at designated schools and other locations within the respective urban local body areas.
The arrangements include seven tables at Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Kanota for Kanota; nine tables at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Community Centre, Watika for Watika; nine tables at PM Shri Government Higher Secondary School, Jamwaramgarh for Jamwaramgarh; six tables at PM Shri Government Higher Secondary School, Manoharpur for Manoharpur; and 10 tables at Shri Kalyan Singh Government Higher Secondary School, Shahpura for Shahpura.
Similarly, four tables have been allocated at the Panchayat Samiti Office, Phagi for Phagi; eight tables at the Government Industrial Training Institute, Malpura Road, Dudu for Dudu; five tables at Government Shakambhar Postgraduate College, Sambhar Lake for Sambhar; six tables at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Chaksu for Chaksu; and five tables at Government Girls College, Chomu for Kaladera.
For Chomu, nine tables have been arranged at Government Girls College, Chomu, while five tables have been allocated at the same venue for Khejroli. Seven tables have been arranged at the College of Dairy and Food Technology, Bassi, for Bassi; five tables at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Naraina, for Naraina; and five tables at Shri Karna Narendra Government Higher Secondary School, Jobner, for Jobner.
For Kishangarh-Renwal, five tables have been allocated at Ma. Ri. So. Government Higher Secondary School, Kishangarh-Renwal. Seven tables have been arranged at Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Bagru, for Bagru, while eight tables have been allocated at the Municipal Office, Phulera, for Phulera.
District Election Officer Sandesh Nayak has directed the concerned officials to complete all necessary preparations ahead of the counting process. He also instructed officials to ensure coordination with the concerned departments for security arrangements, deployment of personnel, EVM and laptop storage, and other essential requirements at the counting centres.
Nayak further clarified that no person will be permitted to enter a counting centre without an authorised entry pass.
