Mumbai, September 2026: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with his family members, visited the famous Lalbaugcha Raja Lord Ganesha idol at Parel in Mumbai on Monday and sought blessings.
Shah was accompanied by his wife, Sonal Shah, son Jayesh Shah, daughter and granddaughter during the visit.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar also offered prayers and sought the blessings of Lalbaugcha Raja along with the Union Home Minister.
Ministers Ashish Shelar and Mangal Prabhat Lodha were also present on the occasion.
Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal President Balasaheb Kamble, Vice-President Sagar Gupta and Honorary Secretary Sudhir Salvi welcomed Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The idol of Lord Ganesha for this year’s Ganeshotsav has been crafted by renowned sculptor Santosh Kambli.
