Foreign Language Communication Skill Program to Be Conducted on a Large Scale: CM Bhajanlal Sharma

Jaipur, April 2026 : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has called for the large-scale आयोजन (organization) of the “Foreign Language Communication Skill Program,” emphasizing that it will play a crucial role in enhancing employment opportunities for youth. He directed officials to ensure maximum participation of young people in the initiative.

Chairing a review meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office on Wednesday, Sharma discussed the framework and preparations for the program scheduled to be held on May 1 (Friday). He highlighted that the initiative is aimed at making youth more employable by equipping them with communication skills in foreign languages, thereby opening doors to global job markets.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the state government is committed not only to providing employment opportunities but also to transforming youth into job creators. He underlined that promoting local employment generation and strengthening traditional livelihoods remain key priorities of the government.

Sharma also stressed the importance of engaging youth through the My Bharat digital platform, describing it as a powerful tool for nation-building. He noted that more than 1.7 million registrations have already been recorded from Rajasthan on the platform. Officials were instructed to integrate these registered युवाओं (youth) into the Foreign Language Communication Skill Program so that their aspirations of securing employment abroad can be realized.

Highlighting the broader vision, the Chief Minister said that empowering youth with modern skills must go hand-in-hand with instilling a deep connection to India’s rich cultural heritage and values of nationalism. He urged authorities to design special modules that not only inform young people about government welfare schemes and achievements but also strengthen their role in nation-building.

The meeting also focused on expanding opportunities in the private sector, with Sharma noting that efforts are underway to create more employment avenues beyond government jobs. He emphasized that such skill-based programs are essential in bridging the gap between education and industry requirements.

During the session, the Chief Minister interacted with young leaders and listened to their suggestions, reflecting the government’s inclusive approach to policy-making. Senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Akhil Arora and other concerned authorities, were present at the meeting.

The initiative is expected to serve as a significant step toward empowering youth, enhancing their global employability, and contributing to the state’s overall economic growth.
