Wherever Ayodhya and Ram are present, victory is certain: Chief Minister
CM appealed – Do not divide great personalities within the boundaries of caste
Ayodhya, April 2026 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday hoisted the Dharma flag with Vedic chants on the pinnacle of the Shiva temple located in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex. Chief Minister also performed the worship rituals of Lord Shiva and Shri Ramlala and performed Aarti.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said, “Shri Ram have become a medium to unite us. Shri Ram is connecting the North with the South, and Shri Krishna is connecting the East with the West. In the same way, Lord Shankar is connecting every particle of India through the twelve Jyotirlingas.”
He added by saying, these three are the forces uniting India, and this is also our greatest strength. Dr. Lohia used to say that if Shri Ram, Shri Krishna and Shiv Shankar are with us, no one can harm India in the slightest. But his disciples will not understand this, because understanding comes only to those who possess the capacity to understand. Those who do not have that capacity, those Ram-opposers and Shiva-opposers, will have no refuge anywhere.
CM proudly said, “Such a great movement has proved that wherever Ayodhya exists and wherever Ram is present, there will be victory. In favorable or adverse circumstances, we will neither stop, nor bow, nor waver, and we will achieve the goal as well. The world is following Ayodhya Dham.
CM also mentioned the condition of the new Ayodhya.
He said that the new Ayodhya is reminding people of Treta Yuga, and this is the power of the double-engine government. This became possible only when followers of Sanatan Dharma rose together in one voice, and only then was the path cleared for the construction of the temple at Ram Janmabhoomi.
CM urged people to strengthen the unity and integrity of India through the unity of Sanatan Dharma. Do not divide great personalities within the boundaries of caste and remain cautious of those who do so. They are committing the same sin as those who, in the medieval period, divided the country and broke the unity of society. The sin of division is no less than treason. Never allow this sin to happen. The day 140 crore Indians move forward with faith in their leadership, the world cannot become an obstacle before them.
The CM informed, “The office bearers of the trust had become worried first due to scorching heat, then lightning, and warnings of rain, but it is only divine grace that the weather became pleasant. To receive the Lord’s grace, one must surrender before him with pure intentions. When we go to the feet of the Lord as devotees and seekers, our wishes are fulfilled. But when there is arrogance that we have done it ourselves, then the Lord also humbles that pride.”
CM Yogi said, “The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement is an important campaign in the history of India. Wherever followers of Sanatan Dharma lived in India and across the world, whether mountain dwellers, forest dwellers, deprived sections, those surviving through alms, or great industrialists living in palace-like residences, everyone had only one feeling in their hearts – that a grand temple of Lord Ram should be built and that they should be able to see it with their own eyes.”
He added, generations passed, while the struggle and movement continued to grow. Women, men, children, youth, and every section of society, people connected with every form of worship in Sanatan Dharma, continuously struggled for 500 years. One dark night had come when the temple of Lord Shri Ram was desecrated and a disputed structure was erected there, but from 1528 onward there would hardly have been a single day without followers of Sanatan Dharma thinking about Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and becoming part of the campaign with the will to do something, without fear or obstruction.
CM Yogi said, success comes only when the Lord wishes to get his work done. When the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh took the movement into its hands in 1983, the movement advanced toward its peak. Ashok Singhal ji united the scattered strength. In this movement, the walls of region, caste and language were broken.
He also said, even today, wherever we go in any corner of the country, we feel its impact. Whether Arunachal or Odisha, Nagaland or Mizoram, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal, the remote corners of Uttarakhand, western, eastern, northern, southern or central India, or a tribal region like Bastar in Chhattisgarh, as soon as people see us, they first say Jai Shri Ram. I went to remote villages during the elections in West Bengal. There too, women, children and men came onto the roads and greeted with Jai Shri Ram.
CM Yogi stated, we are all witnesses to the removal of the structure of slavery and to the movement. When the Supreme Court unanimously gave the verdict on Ram Janmabhoomi, followers of Sanatan Dharma in the country and across the world rejoiced. Some people used to threaten that if the Ram Janmabhoomi verdict came, this would happen or that would happen. These are the same people who used to arrange lawyers, wanted to break Ram Setu, fired bullets on Ram devotees, and wanted no resolution to emerge so that followers of Sanatan Dharma remained insulted.
He added, “But when the Supreme Court unanimously gave the verdict in accordance with the sentiments of Sanatan Dharma and on the basis of evidence, the country and the world welcomed it. The day this verdict came was one of the most peaceful and happiest days in the history of India.”
CM Yogi informed, “When the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Samiti under the leadership of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad carried forward the movement, people used to ask whether the temple would really be built, and saints would say yes, the temple will be built. When the world was suffering from Covid, Bhoomi Pujan was performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020, and the Pran-Pratishtha of Ramlala took place on January 22, 2024. On January 23, 5 lakh people gathered together. Some held pillars, some lay on the ground, and some sat elsewhere, swaying in joy. There were tears of happiness in their eyes. The country and the world were delighted.”
He continues by saying, on November 25, the Sanatani saffron flag was hoisted at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. The Sarsanghchalak ji of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was also present during the Pran-Pratishtha and flag-hoisting ceremonies. By the President, Shri Ram Yantra was established in the temple on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (March 19, 2026).
CM cautioned followers of Sanatan Dharma that when we were divided, non-believers came and took advantage. Today we are united and confronting challenges, therefore we are secure. We will be able to proudly tell future generations that we witnessed with our own eyes the Ram Janmabhoomi verdict, Bhoomi Pujan, the Pran-Pratishtha of Ramlala, Surya Tilak on Ram Navami, the hoisting of the Sanatani flag, and the establishment of Shri Ram Yantra.
He added, future generations will not curse us. We must also tell the present and future generations the value of this. People around the world are researching how this movement continued and how it kept achieving one success after another.
CM Yogi said, a flag has also been hoisted on the temple of Lord Shiva here. This saffron flag of Sanatan Dharma in the temple of Lord Shiva will enhance the glory of India. Before going to Lanka, Lord Shri Ram worshipped Shiva at Rameshwaram. Lord Shiva narrates the story of Lord Ram to Mother Parvati, and Lord Ram worships Lord Shiva to make him a part of his campaign.
Present at the flag-hoisting ceremony were Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi, Zila Panchayat Chairperson Roli Singh, MLAs Ved Prakash Gupta, Ramchandra Yadav, Amit Singh Chauhan, Abhay Singh, Chandrabhan Paswan, former MLA Indrapratap Tiwari, former Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay, Dr. Anil Mishra and others. The proceedings were conducted by Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
