Former Deans and Alumni to be Honoured on Foundation Day of Raipur Agricultural College

Annual Function and Student Union Oath-Taking Ceremony to be Held on May 22

Raipur, May 2026 : The College of Agriculture, Raipur, will organise a grand annual function on May 22 from 2 p.m. onwards to mark the Foundation Day of the institution. The programme will include the annual function, student union oath-taking ceremony, felicitation of former deans, and honouring distinguished alumni. The event will be held at the Krishak Auditorium of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur.

The programme will commence with the College Foundation Day ceremony in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Dr Girish Chandel, who will attend as the chief guest.

Following this, the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected student union office-bearers will take place, during which they will reaffirm their commitment towards student welfare, discipline, and academic excellence.

On the occasion, former deans of the College of Agriculture, Raipur, will be honoured for their valuable contributions in taking the institution to new heights in academics, research, and extension activities during their tenure.

The college will also felicitate distinguished alumni who have achieved remarkable success in various fields and brought recognition to the institution through their professional accomplishments.

As part of the annual celebrations, students of the College of Agriculture, Raipur, will present colourful cultural performances showcasing the talent, creativity, and rich cultural spirit of the institution.
