Minister Reviews Facilities at Gram Vikas Bhavan

Mumbai, May 2026 : Rural Development Minister Jaykumar Gore on Thursday inspected the newly constructed Gram Vikas Bhavan government complex at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. The facility has been developed as an important centre for the effective implementation of various schemes of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, administrative coordination, and training activities.

During the visit, the minister reviewed the various administrative sections, training halls, meeting facilities, and other infrastructure available at Gram Vikas Bhavan in detail.

It was stated during the inspection that establishing an efficient and modern administrative system is essential to accelerate development works in rural areas, and Gram Vikas Bhavan is expected to play a crucial role in this direction.

Officials also highlighted that the government is focusing on providing modern technology and advanced facilities to improve coordination, systematic functioning, and efficiency in the operations of the Rural Development Department.

Rural Development Minister Jaykumar Gore expressed confidence that Gram Vikas Bhavan would emerge as a key centre for effectively implementing rural development initiatives, training programmes, and administrative planning related to village development across the state.
