Holi Festivities at the Chief Minister’s Residence Overflow with Joy

Jaipur, March 2026 : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma celebrated the festival of Holi with great enthusiasm alongside the general public on Wednesday. At the Holi Mahotsav held at the Chief Minister’s residence, thousands of people from across the state gathered to celebrate the festival with flowers and natural colours. Accompanied by his wife, Shri Sharma applied gulal to citizens, showered flowers, and warmly welcomed everyone with heartfelt affection.

On the auspicious occasion of Holi, the diverse culture of Rajasthan came alive under one roof, showcasing vibrant traditions ranging from Braj to Shekhawati. Artists and a bhajan troupe from Braj enthralled the audience with devotional singing and dance performances, while performers from Fatehpur in the Shekhawati region created a lively atmosphere with energetic chang music. The Chief Minister also joined the artists, participating in the festive Phalgun songs.

Children, elderly citizens, women, and youth alike displayed special excitement while celebrating Holi with the Chief Minister. Some honoured him by offering gulal along with traditional safa and dupatta, while others presented handmade pichkaris and gulal balls. Extending heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state, Shri Sharma said that the festival of colours inspires everyone to forget bitterness and resolve to live life with joy and harmony.

The occasion was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Premchand Bairwa, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Madan Rathore, Smt. Manju Sharma, MLA Shri Kuldeep Dhankhar, Shri Gopal Sharma, along with other MPs, MLAs, former MPs and MLAs, public representatives, senior officials, and a large number of citizens from various districts of the state, ranging from Jaisalmer to Dholpur and Hanumangarh to Banswara.
