Ensure Welfare Benefits Reach the Last Person: Jogaram Patel

Jaipur, March 2026 : Jaipur District In-charge Minister Jogaram Patel emphasized that the benefits of welfare schemes and budget announcements must reach the last eligible person without any hindrance. He stated that the overall development of the district depends on effective, transparent, and timely implementation of government schemes.

Chairing a review meeting with district-level officials, Patel assessed the progress of various departments and issued necessary directions to improve service delivery and ensure better execution of welfare programmes.

He stressed that drinking water management during the summer season should be the top priority. Officials were directed to implement the summer contingency plan effectively, identify water-scarce areas in advance, arrange alternative water sources, streamline tanker services, and ensure prompt repair of hand pumps and tube wells to provide uninterrupted water supply.

Reviewing budget announcements, he instructed that all pending works be completed within the stipulated time and directed officials to expedite land allocation for projects announced in the 2026–27 budget. He clarified that in case of land constraints, alternative sites should be identified so that development works are not delayed. He also called for regular monitoring to ensure visible outcomes on the ground.

During the meeting, Patel also released a short film based on the Jaipur administration’s “Panch Gaurav” programme. He said such initiatives help promote local products, encourage entrepreneurship, and generate employment, and should be further strengthened through public participation.

He directed officials to ensure effective utilization of TSP and SCSP funds for the upliftment of targeted communities and stressed transparency in delivering benefits to eligible beneficiaries.

Expressing concern over delays in citizen services, he instructed timely and quality disposal of cases related to bonafide certificates, caste certificates, scholarships, and other services. He also reviewed flagship schemes and emphasized their effective outreach.

The minister reviewed preparations under the “Namo Nursery” plantation drive and directed the formulation of a concrete plan for plant production and distribution. He also asked for assessment and prioritization of repairs and safety measures in school buildings.

Reviewing MoUs under the “Rising Rajasthan” initiative, he instructed officials to identify bottlenecks in investment projects and prepare action plans for their quick resolution. He also emphasized ensuring smooth and uninterrupted LPG supply.

Speaking to the media, Patel said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the administration is working with innovation, transparency, and accountability, aiming not just to implement schemes but to bring positive change in people’s lives.

He also appreciated initiatives such as Rasta Kholo Abhiyan, Saksham Jaipur Abhiyan, and NREGA Akshar Abhiyan, stating that these efforts have given a new direction to development in the district.
