Chief Minister to hand over appointment letters to 936 police personnel

Event to be held on Tuesday at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in the state capital; Finance Minister Suresh Khanna will also be present

Lucknow, April 2026 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hand over appointment letters to 936 Head Operators/Head Operators (Mechanical) selected by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board on Tuesday. The event will be organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna will also be present at the event.

Last Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the passing-out parade of over 60,000 civil police constables. Following this, on April 28, he will participate in the appointment letter distribution ceremony for the 936 Head Operators/Head Operators (Mechanical) selected for the UP Police Telecommunications Department.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also address the newly appointed personnel and urge them to discharge their duties with honesty and dedication. The event will also highlight the government’s transparent recruitment process and its efforts to strengthen law and order.
