Additional Chief Secretary Shri Mandloi informed that a significant strategic partnership is being established between the State Government and Google Cloud India. Under this collaboration, a ‘Centre of Excellence’ will be established in Indore, for which an MoU will be signed shortly. The Centre will serve as a major hub for AI-based innovation, research, skill development, and technology solution development. More than 10,000 AI developers will be associated with the Centre to provide real-time technical support tailored to the needs of Madhya Pradesh, the country, and the Global South.
Following the India AI Impact Summit-2026, Google Cloud India presented a comprehensive roadmap for AI-driven development and good governance in line with the vision of a ‘Prosperous Madhya Pradesh’. Special discussions were held on developing Simhastha-2028 as a smart and technology-enabled event. The AI framework presented by Google includes advanced systems such as real-time crowd management, predictive traffic and security analytics, AI-based emergency response systems and digital twin models.
The concept of a multilingual and voice-enabled AI application named ‘Sahayak’ was also presented during the meeting. The application will provide pilgrims visiting Simhastha with real-time information in local languages regarding crowd conditions, route guidance, traffic arrangements, and emergency services. This is expected to significantly enhance convenience, safety, and event management for millions of devotees.
Officials of Google Cloud India stated that, encouraged by the unprecedented support and cooperation received from the Madhya Pradesh Government during the AI Summit, AI-based solutions are being developed in sectors such as agriculture, education, healthcare, forestry, women and child development, and other departments in line with the state’s priorities.
In the healthcare sector, proposals were presented under the ‘Ojas AI’ framework for remote clinical decision support, early identification of high-risk pregnancies, and real-time health dashboards. In the agriculture sector, plans were shared to develop a Gemini-powered open AI network to provide farmers with local advisory services, market price information, and access to financial services.
In the education sector, proposals were presented to develop AI-based virtual tutors, personalised learning systems, and teacher support tools to provide multilingual and customised learning support to more than 5 lakh students and one lakh teachers.
Similarly, in policing and public safety, AI solutions based on predictive law enforcement, behavioural analytics, and digital forensics were presented to strengthen investigation and response systems.
The meeting also discussed AI-enabled solutions such as conversational citizen service platforms, automated grievance redressal systems, intelligent document processing, and integrated citizen data systems to make governance more effective and citizen-centric. In addition, solutions based on computer vision and real-time alert systems were presented for wildlife conservation and the mitigation of human-wildlife conflict.
Google expressed its commitment to support the state through the ‘AI for All’ skilling programme, advanced cloud infrastructure, AI/ML-based pilot projects, strengthening of the start-up ecosystem and enhancement of cybersecurity infrastructure.
The meeting concluded with consensus on preparing an action plan, department-wise priorities, a detailed implementation strategy, and a regular review mechanism. The State Government and Google reiterated their commitment to take this partnership beyond strategic discussions and implement it at the ground level to ensure citizen-centric outcomes across the state.
This partnership with Google is expected to provide a new direction to AI-based good governance, service delivery, and inclusive development in Madhya Pradesh.
