Presentation of “Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit” and “Braj Chaurasi Yatra” in the Tourism Department

Jaipur : A presentation on the “Concept Plan & Preliminary Report” for the preparation of “Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit” and “Braj Chaurasi Yatra” was held on Monday at the Tourism Bhawan. The session was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Rajasthan Heritage Authority Chairman Shri Omkar Singh Lakhawat, and Tourism Secretary Shri Ravi Jain, with consultants and architects presenting the proposals.

Under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, consultants and architects provided a detailed, point-wise presentation on the submitted tenders. The presentation highlighted plans to develop the “Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit” and “Braj Chaurasi Yatra” and proposed various strategies to enhance facilities for tourists visiting these destinations.

After the presentation, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari addressed the press, stating that the presentations from various agencies were reviewed. Based on this input, the plans will be implemented in a structured and point-wise manner.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also expressed gratitude to Union Tourism Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for approving two major projects worth ₹145 crores for the Rajasthan Tourism Department. She mentioned that the Central Government, under its special capital expenditure plan to elevate various tourism centers to world-class standards, has sanctioned ₹49.31 crores for the development of Amer and Nahargarh and ₹96.61 crores for the development of the Jal Mahal area.

She added that Jaipur attracts the highest number of tourists, and the focus is on developing world-class tourist facilities. She also noted that the implementation of a ₹100-crore project for the Walled City area in Jaipur is currently underway.
