Baramati : “Prepare a plan for the construction of a well-equipped hall in the Dhobi Ghat premises, keeping in mind the perspective of providing maximum facilities to the washer community citizens, by taking them into confidence,” directed Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. These instructions were given during his inspection of various ongoing public development works in the Baramati area.

Mr. Pawar inspected the Government Ayurvedic College at Medad, the beautification of the Karha River, the Artificial Intelligence Center (AI Center) at Vidya Pratishthan, and the ongoing public development works at Shrimant Babuji Naik Wada, taking information from the concerned authorities. On this occasion, Additional Superintendent of Police Ganesh Biradar, Sub-Divisional Officer Vaibhav Navadkar, Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department Atul Chavan, and Chief Engineer of MSEDCL Ankush Nale, among others, were present.

Mr. Pawar said, “While working on the Government Ayurvedic College, ensure that the rooms in the building have proper ventilation and adequate sunlight. The arrangement of tables should be such that there is no obstruction when doctors place medical equipment. To avoid traffic congestion in the future, the surrounding roads should be widened. Care must also be taken to prevent waterlogging on the roads. Install state-of-the-art solar power equipment for electricity generation. Prepare a plan for constructing a modern crematorium in the area.”

“Develop the Shrimant Babuji Naik Wada premises as a blend of ancient and modern architecture; while doing the work, the original form of the wada should be preserved. Install electric lights in a way that ensures clean sunlight in the rooms and proper visibility for citizens. While installing lights, consider the safety of citizens. There should not be any gaps between the walls and tiles. Provide convenient steps and seating arrangements for children and senior citizens to ascend and descend.”

“Speed up the construction of the protective wall for the Karha River. Maintain cleanliness in the Dashkriya Vidhi Ghat premises. While carrying out public development works, ensure that the natural flow of the river is not obstructed.
