Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade wrote a letter for the development of Maa Bageshwari Temple Kudargarh under the ‘Prasad’ scheme
Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade has written a letter to the Secretary of Chhattisgarh Government. Through the letter, she has again issued a reminder to the Government of India for the rejuvenation and all-round development of Maa Bageshwari Temple located in Kudargarh of Surajpur district, which is included in the Prasad Scheme of the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of India.
It is worth noting that Prasad Yojana is a scheme of the Government of India which aims to promote religious tourism. Under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Campaign Scheme, focus is laid on developing pilgrimage sites and giving them recognition. Under the Prasad scheme, financial assistance is given to the state government and union territories for the development of infrastructure of tourist places, in which it has been included in the ‘Prasad’ scheme for the rejuvenation of the religious place Kudargarh temple of Surajpur district.
In the implementation of the scheme, development works like ropeway, helipad, yagya shala, jyoti room, construction of stairs, passenger shed, high mask light, CCTV, drinking water, security check point, toilet, herbal garden, haat-bazaar, waste management, battery operated vehicle for the convenience of passengers, stop dam development, prasad kitchen, waiting room etc. can be completed at Maa Bageshwari Dham in Vidhan Sabha Bhatgaon.
