Civil Defense Personnel Played a Crucial Role in Disaster Management

Jaipur : The brave and dedicated personnel of Civil Defense in Jaipur district are playing a vital role in disaster management. Without regard for their own safety, these valiant Civil Defense members are performing exemplary tasks under the guidance of the District Collector and the leadership of Deputy Controller Mr. Amit Sharma.

On Sunday, around 8 AM, the Control Room received information about a fire breaking out at a factory located on Road Number 14 in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area. Following the alert, a rescue team from Civil Defense, led by Deputy Controller Amit Sharma, was immediately dispatched to the site along with Civil Defense firefighting vehicles. Upon reaching the site, the rescue team conducted a thorough search of the entire factory and assisted the firefighters in extinguishing the fire. After four hours of intense effort, the team successfully brought the fire under control.

Earlier, on Saturday night around 10 PM, the Control Room received information about a CNG tanker overturning near Tatiawas Toll on Sikar Road. Acting promptly, the Civil Defense rescue team reached the site and coordinated with the technical team of Torrent Gas Company to reduce the gas pressure. During the rescue operation, vehicular movement on both sides of the Jaipur-Sikar Highway was temporarily halted, effectively averting a major accident. Once the operation was completed, the highway was reopened for traffic.
