State Budget Reflects the Vision of a Developed Rajasthan; Timely Implementation of Announcements Assured
Jaipur : Udaipur district’s Minister-in-Charge and Revenue & Colonization Minister Shri Hemant Meena stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to realizing the vision of a Developed Rajasthan. The 2025-26 state budget focuses not only on infrastructure development but also ensures the welfare of all sections of society, with special emphasis on preserving and enhancing the state’s ecological balance.
Speaking at a press conference in Udaipur following a review meeting on budget implementation, Minister Meena addressed concerns about paper leaks in past recruitment exams, assuring that the government has taken strict measures to prevent such issues. He encouraged youth not to be misled but to work hard, as over one lakh vacancies are set to be filled through transparent recruitment exams.
Highlighting budgetary allocations for Udaipur, the minister announced the development of a Tribal Tourist Circuit worth ₹100 crore, incorporating Rishabhdev and other significant religious, cultural, and historical sites in South Rajasthan. Other key projects include improvements in water supply services, pressure management, and supply intervals in Udaipur city, as well as the establishment of an Institute of Mines. Additionally, major investments in infrastructure, healthcare, tourism, education, and sports were approved for the region.
Addressing water supply concerns in high-rise buildings, Minister Meena assured that the Mukhyamantri Shehri Jal Jeevan Mission would provide a permanent solution to the issue. On electricity concerns, he reaffirmed that the 100 units of free electricity policy will remain unchanged.
The press conference was attended by MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat, MLAs Tarachand Jain and Phoolsingh Meena, Deputy District Chief Pushkar Teli, and other dignitaries.
