Grand Oath-Taking Ceremony of Newly Elected Mayor and Councilors of Ambikapur Municipal Corporation

Raipur :A new era of democracy was inaugurated today in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh. The grand oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Mayor and Councilors of Ambikapur Municipal Corporation was held at PG College Hockey Stadium in Ambikapur.

In the presence of CM Vishnu Deo Sai and Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Collector Shri Vilas Bhoskar administered the oath to Mayor Smt. Manjusha Bhagat and councilors in groups of eight.

Commitment to Public Trust and Urban Development

Speaking on the occasion, CM Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the oath-taking ceremony symbolizes the people’s trust, democratic values, and the commitment to the city’s development. He assured that the municipal government is dedicated to fulfilling all promises made in the “Atal Vishwas Patra.” He emphasized that the newly elected representatives must uphold the trust placed in them by the people. He further urged everyone to work together to make Ambikapur a clean, smart, and prosperous city.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh congratulated the newly elected representatives and stressed the importance of transparency and effective governance in urban development.

The event was graced by Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Sarguja MP Shri Chintamani Maharaj, Ambikapur MLA Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Lundra MLA Shri Prabodh Minj, Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission Chairman Shri Vishw Vijay Singh Tomar, along with other public representatives and distinguished citizens.
