Bids Farewell by Carrying His Mortal Remains
Says: Martyrs’ Supreme Sacrifice Will Not Go in Vain; Committed to Eradicating Naxalism
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid a heartfelt tribute to Constable Mehul Bhai Nandlal Solanki of the CRPF’s CoBRA Battalion, who was martyred during an anti-Naxal operation in the Usoor region of Bijapur district. Displaying immense courage, Mehul Bhai laid down his life in the line of duty. The Chief Minister honoured the martyr by placing a floral wreath on his mortal remains and gave a final farewell by personally carrying the body before it was sent to his home state.
At the 4th Battalion premises of the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces in Mana, the Chief Minister expressed his deep condolences to the martyr’s family and prayed to the Almighty to give them strength during this difficult time. He stated that Mehul Bhai’s bravery and patriotism will always be remembered.
CM Sai also emphasized that the anti-Naxal campaign has intensified over the past year, resulting in major successes. He reaffirmed the government’s resolve to completely eliminate Naxalism by March 2026, assuring that the sacrifice of brave soldiers will not go in vain. He further declared that the government stands firmly with the families of martyrs and will extend all necessary support.
Constable Mehul Bhai’s sacrifice, the CM added, exemplifies the highest tradition of valor and dedication to the nation.
The event was attended by Home Minister Vijay Sharma, MLAs Motilal Sahu and Purandar Mishra, DGP Arun Dev Gautam, and numerous public representatives, officials, and citizens who came to pay their respects.
