Timely Supply of Fertilizer and Seeds Brings Smiles Back on Farmers’ Faces

Raipur : The timely availability of seeds and fertilizers has eased the worries of farmers and brought joy back to their lives.

With the monsoon season underway, ensuring timely access to agricultural inputs like fertilizers and seeds is a major challenge for farmers. Recognizing this, the government and administration have issued necessary directives to officials for advance stocking of fertilizers and seeds at cooperative societies. As a result, farmers are now receiving the resources they need without delay, enabling them to focus on sowing and cultivation with peace of mind.

Santosh Kumar Nishad, a farmer from the village of Parsabhader (Ch) in Balodabazar district, was gearing up to work on his 7-acre farm this season as he does every year. However, a sense of concern set in when he feared a delay in fertilizer supply, a scenario that can be distressing for any farmer. With this worry, he visited the Seva Sahakari Samiti in Balodabazar. To his surprise, the situation there was vastly different from previous years — no crowd, no chaos. The system was so well-organized that he received the full quantity of fertilizer immediately and without any hassle.

The moment he received the fertilizer, a gleam of relief and happiness lit up his eyes. “For the first time, it truly feels like the government is thinking about us,” Santosh said. “There was no difficulty, it saved time and effort. Now I can sow my crops on time.”

Moved by the smooth and farmer-friendly arrangements, Santosh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. He added that it is due to the farmer-centric vision of the Chief Minister that small farmers like him are gradually becoming self-reliant.

This positive outcome reflects the government’s commitment to making agricultural resources easily accessible, ensuring that farming continues smoothly during crucial seasonal periods.
