Sahkar evam Rojgar Utsav to Be Held on July 17 – Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah to Attend as Chief Guest

Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma to Grace the Event; Minister Gautam Kumar Dak Reviews Preparations on Site

Jaipur : Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah will participate as the Chief Guest in the Sahkar evam Rojgar Utsav (Cooperation and Employment Festival) being organized in Dadiya village of Jaipur district on July 17 as part of the International Year of Cooperatives celebrations. The event will also be graced by the presence of Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma.

On Tuesday, Cooperation Minister Shri Gautam Kumar Dak visited the venue to inspect the preparations. He held a meeting with administrative, police, and departmental officials to review the arrangements. Present at the venue were Jaipur Police Commissioner Shri Biju George Joseph, Principal Secretary and Registrar of Cooperative Societies Smt. Manju Rajpal, Jaipur District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, and other senior officials.

Minister Dak instructed the various departments involved in the event to work in coordination to ensure all arrangements are in place. He emphasized proper seating, drinking water, and refreshments such as tea, biscuits, and buttermilk for attendees. He also directed the authorities to ensure proper parking arrangements and availability of medical aid at the venue.

To facilitate smooth functioning, Shri Dak instructed the establishment of help desks and a control room at the venue. He further stated that the control room set up at Nehru Sahkar Bhavan must operate 24×7 to ensure real-time information exchange.

He also directed that water campers be placed at each block of the venue and signboards be installed throughout the area for visitor convenience. Coordination with police and administration was emphasized to manage entry passes for dignitaries. He also ordered installation of LED screens in the parking areas and requested rain contingency measures be put in place, considering the monsoon season.

Police Commissioner Shri Biju George Joseph briefed the gathering about the security arrangements, traffic control, and parking management for the event. Smt. Manju Rajpal, Principal Secretary of the Cooperation Department, informed that 40 stalls will be set up as part of the exhibition during the event to showcase products by cooperative institutions.

District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni informed that the district administration has appointed an Additional District Collector as the nodal officer to oversee preparations for the event.
