District-Level Public Hearing Held at Jaipur Collectorate Auditorium
123 Grievances Heard, On-the-Spot Relief Provided in 12 Cases
Jaipur – From the resumption of halted pensions to life-saving free medical treatment, from scholarships for students to support under the Palanhar Scheme—these were some of the outcomes witnessed at the district-level public hearing held at the Jaipur Collectorate auditorium on Thursday.
A total of 123 grievances were heard during the program, out of which 12 cases were resolved on the spot. For the remaining cases, relevant department officials were instructed to take prompt action for swift redressal.
The majority of the grievances were related to issues such as removal of encroachments, initiating pension benefits, availing government welfare schemes, ensuring consistent water supply, land access routes in agricultural areas, old-age pensions, roads, housing leases, and land dispute resolution. Officials were directed to resolve these matters with accountability and provide necessary relief to the public.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma has emphasized the timely and quality resolution of public grievances. He has instructed the district administration to conduct regular public hearings in a transparent and sensitive manner to address citizens’ concerns swiftly.
Present at the hearing were Additional District Collector (Second) Shri Ashish Kumar, Additional District Collector (Third) Smt. Kuntal Vishnoi, Additional District Collector (Fourth) Shri Devendra Kumar Jain, Additional CEO Shri Sher Singh Luhadia, and district-level officials from departments such as Medical & Health, Police, Electricity, Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Agriculture, Forest, and Revenue.
