WorldOne Energy to Build a Robust Energy Ecosystem in Umred: CM Devendra Fadnavis

Inauguration of Solar and Green Hydrogen Energy Projects at Umred

Nagpur : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed confidence that WorldOne Energy Pvt. Ltd., by leveraging advanced technology, has made a strong entry into the solar and green hydrogen energy sectors and will soon help establish a robust renewable energy ecosystem in the Umred region.

CM Fadnavis inaugurated WorldOne Energy’s 1.2 gigawatt solar power generation facility and performed the groundbreaking ceremony (bhoomipujan) for a 2.5 megawatt green hydrogen power plant at MIDC Umred. Speaking at the event, he highlighted the significance of these renewable projects.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of State for Finance and Planning Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, MLAs Dr. Sanjay Meshram and Dr. Ashish Deshmukh, former MLAs Sudhir Parwe and Raju Parwe, and WorldOne Energy founder and Managing Director Murtaza Kothawala.

Chief Minister Fadnavis stated, “WorldOne Energy has employed cutting-edge technology for the solar energy project in Umred, which will generate 25% more energy efficiency than conventional setups. In addition, the green hydrogen project will contribute to environment-friendly power generation, further enhancing the region’s clean energy profile. Together, these projects will lay the foundation for a strong renewable ecosystem and will play a pivotal role in the development of Umred.”

Earlier, Mr. Fadnavis personally inspected the project site and reviewed its technical aspects in detail.

During the event, local public representatives also presented a cheque of ₹25 lakh towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, which was handed over to CM Fadnavis.
