Outstanding Officers and Employees Felicitated at the Hands of Dignitaries
Revenue Week Celebrations Begin with Enthusiasm at the Divisional Commissionerate
Amravati, Aug 2025 : The Revenue Department is known as the backbone of the state government as it deals with all sections of society. To ensure that the benefits of various services and schemes implemented by the Revenue Department reach the last person in the society, effective execution of these schemes is crucial. Every officer and employee must work with utmost honesty, follow the rules diligently, and strive to complete public tasks within the stipulated time. This will give them a sense of inner satisfaction of serving society, said Divisional Commissioner Dr. Shweta Singhal at a felicitation event held today.
The felicitation ceremony for outstanding officers and employees was organized at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office as part of Revenue Week, observed from August 1 to August 7. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Singhal emphasized that the Revenue Department should focus on enhancing public trust in governance by ensuring timely delivery of services. The aim of Revenue Week is to extend the department’s services to all sections of society through special campaigns and citizen-centric initiatives. She urged every officer and employee to make a conscious effort toward achieving this goal.
On the occasion of Revenue Day, officials and employees who performed exceptionally well were honored with mementos and certificates. Dr. Singhal congratulated the awardees, acknowledging their dedication, and encouraged others to strive harder, with the resolve to win awards next year. She advised everyone to utilize e-Governance, e-Office, and modern technology to simplify office work and enhance efficiency.

Dr. Singhal highlighted that the state government prioritizes such initiatives to increase transparency in revenue administration and strengthen public trust. Accordingly, daily special campaigns on designated topics will be organized through Collectorates across all five districts under the division.
