Vigilance is the Most Effective Weapon against Cybercrime: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has emerged as a global leader in digital payments. Today, digital technology has become an integral part of our lifestyle. Mobile phones, the internet, digital payments, online education and social media are now essential parts of daily life. However, along with these digital facilities, cyber threats are also rising rapidly. Sometimes, the very conveniences we enjoy become challenges. Incidents such as digital fraud and ‘digital arrest’ can cause social and economic harm. In such a situation, every online user needs to operate their bank accounts and social media with caution. CM Dr. Yadav said this in his message for the SBI–Madhya Pradesh Police Cyber Security Awareness Campaign. He flagged off the awareness van from the Chief Minister’s residence, which will travel to various districts as part of the campaign.

Cyber Security is a Social Responsibility Today

CM Dr. Yadav appreciated the State Bank of India’s cyber security awareness campaign, which aims to inform customers about bank account safety measures and protect them from cybercriminals. He congratulated SBI officials and staff, stating that cyber security has now become a social responsibility. With the rise in technology use, the activity of cybercriminals has also increased. SBI is not only providing better services to its customers but also working to protect them from online digital threats. Every digital platform user must remain vigilant and alert at their level.

Every Citizen Should Become an Economic Sentinel for Cyber Security

CM Dr. Yadav said that in the digital world, our bank accounts, social media, and even our identity can be affected. Therefore, every citizen must stay alert at all levels—from securing their mobile screens with a lock to keeping their passwords confidential. He said that cyber security challenges can be tackled easily with constant vigilance. Every aware citizen can safeguard themselves and society as an economic sentinel. Every step taken towards awareness will become a guarantee for the security of society.
