CM Pushkar Singh Dhami visits Tharali disaster-affected areas, meets affected people

Aug 2025 : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Tharali disaster-affected areas today and met with the people affected by the disaster.

While observing the disaster-affected people, CM Dhami stopped his convoy and broke protocol to reach out to the people. He listened to their problems and assured them of all possible assistance.

The Chief Minister was requested by some villagers in Tharali to open the roads to the upper villages as soon as possible. The Chief Minister assured them that the work to open the roads is going on at a war-footing and as soon as the route is safe, he will personally visit the villages with the residents to assess the situation.

It is known that the Chief Minister stayed in the affected area for three consecutive days during the Dharaali disaster and personally monitored all relief and rescue operations.

The Chief Minister sent a clear message that the Uttarakhand government stands with every affected family and is making every possible effort to reach out to the affected villages with relief and assistance.
