Deadline Extended for ‘Maharashtra State Best Public Ganeshotsav Mandal Competition’ Applications till 26th August : Cultural Minister Ashish Shelar Announces

Mumbai, Aug 2025 : The Government of Maharashtra has declared that from this year onwards, Ganeshotsav will be celebrated as the “State Festival of Maharashtra.” As part of this state festival, the ‘Maharashtra State Best Public Ganeshotsav Mandal Competition 2025’ has been organised. Cultural Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar announced that the deadline for submitting applications for the competition has been extended. The final date to submit applications is now Tuesday, 26th August 2025, to encourage maximum participation from Ganesh Mandals across the state.

Applications for the competition are available on the website: https://ganeshotsav.pldmka.co.in and will be accepted through the online portal. Minister Shelar appealed to all Ganesh Mandals to participate actively and compete for taluka, district, and state-level prizes, thereby showcasing their enthusiasm and dedication during this state festival.
