JP Nadda Slams RJD’s ‘Jungle Raj’ as PM Modi Reminds Congress of Sitaram Kesri’s Humiliation in Bihar Poll Campaign
Vaishali, Oct 2025 : Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), accusing the party of bringing “jungle raj” and “anarchy” during Lalu Prasad Yadav’s 15-year rule in Bihar. Addressing a public rally in Hajipur ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled for November 6 and 11, Nadda said the RJD government had pushed Bihar backward and destroyed law and order.
“Lalu Yadav ruled Bihar for 15 years, and those were the years of jungle raj and total anarchy,” Nadda said. “Law and order collapsed, and people were forced to leave the state in search of safety and livelihood. Today, Tejashwi Yadav talks about migration — but it was their government that caused it. They should apologize to the people of Bihar for the years of suffering and displacement.”
Nadda’s remarks come as the BJP intensifies its campaign across Bihar, highlighting governance, infrastructure, and welfare as key themes. He urged voters to reject the RJD’s “misrule” and support the NDA’s vision of a developed Bihar.
Earlier, BJP MP Ravi Kishan predicted a landslide victory for the NDA in the upcoming polls. Speaking to ANI, he said, “The NDA will win more than 170 seats. This will be a historic and unprecedented mandate from the people of Bihar.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed rallies in the state, invoking the memory of former Congress President Sitaram Kesri to criticize the Congress leadership. Modi accused the party of humiliating Kesri — a prominent leader from Bihar and a Dalit — for the sake of family dominance.
“Today is the death anniversary of Sitaram Kesri,” Modi said at a public meeting in Begusarai. “The country will never forget how the Congress family insulted him. They locked him in a bathroom and forcibly removed him from the post of party president. This shows how the Congress treats Dalit and backward leaders — their only concern is preserving their family rule.”
The Prime Minister said that Kesri’s humiliation remains a reminder of how Congress disregards those who challenge its dynastic politics. “Sitaram Kesri was the pride of Bihar,” he said. “What happened to him reflects the Congress mindset towards marginalized communities.”
Voting in Bihar will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, with the results to be declared on November 14.
