Education is the Key to Social Development; Life is Incomplete Without It — Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai
Raipur, Oct 2025 : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the oath-taking and Diwali Milan ceremony of the Chhattisgarh State Manikpuri Panika community at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that education is the foundation of social development and the true path to a successful life. “Life is incomplete without education. It is not merely a means to secure employment but a way to live meaningfully. Whether in art, trade, agriculture, or any other field, education plays a crucial role in achieving success,” he said.
The Chief Minister administered the oath to the newly elected office-bearers and congratulated them. He noted that the state government has been continuously strengthening the education sector since the formation of Chhattisgarh. “At the time of state formation, we had only one medical college. Today, around 15 medical colleges are operating in the state. Prestigious national and international institutions such as IIT, IIIT, IIM, Law University, AIIMS, and CIPET have been established in Chhattisgarh, offering both education and opportunities to our youth,” he added.
Highlighting the importance of unity, Chief Minister Sai said, “A strong nation is built upon organized communities. Your society has made an invaluable contribution to art and literature since ancient times. During the world-famous Bastar Dussehra festival, the sacred Kachan Devi ritual features a girl from the Panika community — a matter of immense pride for the entire community.”
He also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to inclusive growth under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guiding principle — ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas’ (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all, and Efforts by all). He said the government has been working tirelessly for the welfare of all sections for the past 22 months. Key initiatives include the Krishak Unnati Yojana for farmers’ prosperity, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for housing, Mahatari Vandan Yojana for women empowerment, and teacher rationalization to address shortages in remote schools.
Chhattisgarh Mati Kala Board Chairman Shambhu Nath Chakravarty also addressed the event, congratulating the newly elected community leaders. The ceremony was attended by Manikpuri Panika Samaj President Bharat Das Manikpuri, other office-bearers, public representatives, and a large number of dignitaries.
