A Huge Crowd Gathers at the Tribal Welfare Department’s Stall at Rajyotsav
Stall Based on the Theme of 25 Years of Achievements Attracts Visitors

Raipur, Nov 2025 : A stall set up by the Tribal Welfare Department at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Mela Ground in Naya Raipur during the Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav is witnessing a massive rush of visitors. The themes designed around various schemes have become the centre of attraction for the public. It is noteworthy that Rajyotsav 2025 is being celebrated as the Silver Jubilee to mark the completion of 25 years of Chhattisgarh’s statehood. This year, the five-day celebration is being held from November 1 to November 5. The Silver Jubilee Rajyotsav was inaugurated on November 1 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At the departmental stall set up at the festival, special focus has been placed on the various schemes run for the welfare of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and Minorities. This focus has made the stall particularly appealing to visitors. The exhibits include glimpses of the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial-cum-Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum, PM Janman, the Dharati Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh Campaign, the Aadi Karmayogi Campaign, displays showcasing Chhattisgarh’s tribal lifestyle, achievements under the Eklavya Model Residential School scheme, and highlights of the department’s achievements over the 25 years since the formation of the state.
Additionally, several books published by the Tribal Research and Training Institute have been showcased and offered for sale at the stall, attracting strong interest from visitors. A large number of books have been sold during the festival.
The stall also provides information on the Jaitkhamb and other special features related to Girodpuri Dham. Furthermore, the exhibition by the Chhattisgarh Iron Craftsmen Development Board and the selfie zone have emerged as major attractions for the public.
