Bihar Has Emerged from the Darkness of Jungle Raj and Is Now Moving Ahead in the Light of Development and Good Governance: CM Rekha Gupta

Bihar/New Delhi, Nov 2025 : Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s grand roadshow and public outreach programme today in Bihar’s Siwan, from Badka Gaaon to Tarwara, turned into a symbol of public enthusiasm and overwhelming support. Thousands of people lined the streets to greet the Chief Minister with warmth and showered flowers upon her, as chants of “Once Again NDA Government” echoed across Siwan. Later, the Chief Minister also took part in a massive roadshow in Gopalganj city, which saw the participation of thousands of party workers, supporters, and local residents.

Addressing the public, the Chief Minister said that the people of Bihar have always stood with development, education, employment, and good governance. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the NDA government has set Bihar on a fast track of progress visible today in every village and town. Whether it is roads, flyovers, colleges, railway stations, hospitals, or airports progress is evident in every sector.

Launching a scathing attack on the opposition, the Chief Minister said that those who once consumed fodder meant for cattle are now trying to feed the people with lies and false promises. But the people of Bihar are wise and will no longer fall into their trap. She said that “Jungle Raj” existed during their rule in an era marked by darkness, lawlessness, and corruption under the lantern regime. The NDA government has given Bihar a new direction through improved law and order and accelerated development.

Appealing to the people to support NDA candidates from the Gopalganj and Siwan Assembly constituencies, the Chief Minister urged voters to press the button for the lotus symbol on polling day and ensure a resounding victory for their beloved leaders. She added that the affection, support, and trust of the people of Bihar are the greatest strength of the NDA, the very energy that continues to propel Bihar on the path of development, prosperity, and good governance.

On this occasion, the public charged the atmosphere with spirited slogans of “Bihar pakad chuka hai raftaar, janta maange phir se NDA sarkar.” Expressing gratitude for the immense love and support received in Siwan and Gopalganj, the Chief Minister said that this overwhelming public response is clear proof that the people now desire development, not deception. The people of Bihar trust the NDA and that trust is our greatest strength.
