PWD Undertakes Patch Repair Work on 98 km of Assembly Division Roads; 26 km Completed
Road repair work in full swing across the state
Raipur, Nov 2025 : Road repair work is underway at full pace across the state. In Raipur district as well, patch repair work is being carried out on roads that developed potholes or were damaged due to the monsoon. In the Raipur zone of the Public Works Department (PWD), patch repair is being carried out on a total of 98 km of roads in the Assembly division.
Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Minister Arun Sao has instructed officials to complete the road repair work swiftly.
The Chief Engineer of PWD Raipur Zone, Pankaj Mohan Kashyap, and Executive Engineer Vishal Trivedi inspected the repair works today on the Birgaon-Urla-Bendri-Kara-Bana-Gomchi-Nandanvan Road, Hirapur-Jarway-Nandanvan Road, Bendri Approach Road, Dharsiwa-Kura-Pandarbhata-Lakhna-Bhumiya Pandarbhata-Mura Road, Balaudi Approach Road, Kura Kolhan Nala Road, and the Tarapongi-Devari Bypass Road connected to NH-130B Raipur-Bilaspur Road.
They informed that patch repair work on 26 km of BT (bituminous) roads has been completed.
Patch repair work on several other routes—such as Tati Bandh–Hirapur Four-Lane Road, Urla-Guma-Hirapur-Sondongri-Tendua Road, Urla-Patharidih Road, Dharsiwa-Kura-Pandarbhata-Saguni-Balaudi Road, Somnath Temple Approach Road, Tilda-Nevra Road, Nevra-Sinodha-Khapri-Mohda-Hathband Road, Tilda-Nevra-Kota-Champa-Manpur-Kohka-Parsawani-Chingori-Chhachhanpairi-Nohra Road, Bangoli Approach Road, and Mohra Approach Road—will also be completed soon.
