Voter Registration Begins for Teachers’ and Graduates’ Constituency Elections
Mumbai, Nov 2025 : As per the schedule announced by the Election Commission of India, the process of preparing fresh electoral rolls for the biennial elections of the Graduates’ constituencies in Pune, Nagpur, and Aurangabad divisions, as well as the Teachers’ constituencies in Pune and Amravati divisions, has begun.
According to information from the Election Commission, applications received from eligible graduates and teachers up to November 6, 2025, in Form 18 and Form 19 respectively, will be scrutinized by the concerned Electoral Registration Officers. Based on this scrutiny, the draft electoral rolls will be published on November 25, 2025.
Citizens will then have the opportunity to file claims and objections regarding these draft lists from November 25 to December 10, 2025. Additionally, eligible graduates and teachers may continue to apply for voter registration using Form 18 and Form 19 even after November 6.
Applications received up to December 10, 2025, will be considered, and the final electoral rolls will be published on December 30, 2025.

Eligibility criteria, required documents, and other relevant information for voter registration can be found in the “Manual” section of the website. Therefore, all eligible graduates and teachers who have not yet applied are urged to complete their registration immediately, the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer stated in a press release.
