Mahasamund Farmer Chhabilal Bari Appreciates Paddy Procurement Policy
Received Token and Sold Paddy on Time, Faced No Difficulties
Raipur, Nov 2025 : Chhabilal Bari, a hardworking farmer from Rajadih village in Saraipali block of Mahasamund district, is very pleased after selling his paddy at the support price under the procurement process that began on 15 November. On 17 November, at the Junglebeda paddy procurement centre, he sold 176 quintals of paddy. He did not face any difficulty in obtaining the token or in the selling process. Appreciating the government’s paddy procurement policy, he expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for introducing such a beneficial system.
Farmer Chhabilal Bari stated that the entire process was smooth and transparent. Throughout the procedure, he did not encounter a single problem. He received his token on time, and the arrangements at the centre were excellent. He said that this year’s paddy procurement policy of the state government has provided new strength to farmers.
Expressing gratitude to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, he said that the government’s decision to procure 21 quintals of paddy per acre and to provide a support price of ₹3,100 per quintal is a big relief for farmers. He added that this policy protects farmers’ interests and ensures a secure and prosperous future. According to Chhabilal, policies like these empower farmers, increase their income, and help them build a better future for their families.
